Installed soft starters on the mud pump motors and balanced the bus so well the galley lights don’t even blink at 02:00; apparently I robbed night shift of their haunted-house vibe… Anybody else catch grief for making the power steady and saving a few kilowatts instead of keeping it spicy?

I get it, keeping things steady might take away some of the fun for the night crew! Maybe you could compromise by making the lights flash a bit during break times? Just enough to keep the Halloween spirit alive without the full flicker effect.
