I was pondering this the other day after a long shift. We had just finished a week of drilling, and the bit finally gave up the ghost. I can’t help but think it was either the operator’s coffee cup or maybe just too many trips to the doghouse for maintenance. Anyone else had a bit go down at the worst possible moment?
