Safe way to speed up hose swaps

We’re swapping 4-inch transfer hoses twice a shift on the catwalk; we lift with a 2-ton come-along and two taglines, but the resets are eating time. Anyone have a staging setup or pre-rig trick that keeps hands clear and stays within JSA and LOTO? I’m trying to cut wasted steps, not corners.

@OP I’ve had good luck hanging a small beam trolley with a short lever hoist over the catwalk and leaving a choker/masterlink on each 4" hose — we “park” the outgoing hose on the trolley, pop the come‑along over to the incoming hose, and never re‑rig the chokers so hands stay on taglines. Just make sure both hoists are covered in the same JSA/LOTO and use rated latch hooks; do you have an overhead I‑beam to hang a trolley?

Building on @derek_holt47’s trolley idea, we cut resets by leaving a short chain drop with a self-locking hook on the trolley and pre-slinging both 4" hoses with a two-point yoke marked “A/B” at the same pick lengths; the hook never comes off, so it’s clip, lift, park. We stage with a low roller cradle at the catwalk edge so the outgoing hose lands hands‑clear, then break the camlocks and swing straight to the parked incoming hose — no come‑along re‑rig. Caveat: tag the yoke WLL with softeners and put witness marks on the chain so hook height repeats; do you have the headroom to leave the chain drop permanent?
